Head of Content
The role
Veltro's growth is driven largely by content. We serve a technical audience of SaaS founders, engineers, and product teams who want practical, well-researched content about analytics, automation, and growth. As Head of Content you will build and lead the content program that drives Veltro's organic growth engine.
This is a senior individual contributor role to start, with the opportunity to grow a team around you as the program scales.
What you'll do
- Own Veltro's content strategy across blog, newsletter, SEO, and social media channels
- Build a content program that drives compounding organic traffic and product awareness
- Write and edit high-quality, practical articles on SaaS growth, analytics, and automation for a technical audience
- Partner with product on changelog copy, release notes, and feature launch content
- Manage freelance contributors and grow a small in-house content team as the program scales
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in content or editorial roles at a B2B SaaS company serving a technical audience
- Strong writing ability with a track record of producing clear, non-fluffy content on complex topics
- Proven track record of growing organic search traffic through content programs
- Comfort with SEO fundamentals, keyword research, and content performance analytics
- Async-first communicator with strong editorial judgment and content quality standards
Nice to have
- Experience building a content program from near-zero at an early-stage company
- Background in product-led growth or developer tools content marketing
- Experience producing or editing video or podcast content formats in addition to written content
